It's Called CAREMETICS For A Reason
As a brand, we love that we can actively involve our customers in the change we wish to drive in the world. One of the best ways we can give back to the community - together - is to partner with charities and organisations that are making a positive and thoughtful impact, that are inspiring us to do the same.
Why We Care
Nobu Caremetics is dedicated to helping women feel beautiful and confident at any age. As part of that mission, we believe in giving back to the community and supporting women in need.
That's why we've chosen to donate a portion of our profits to various charities that provide assistance to women in need. We particularly focus on supporting women who have undergone cancer treatment and are in need of support and care. We also support women in Ukraine who have suffered major losses and are in need of assistance. We believe that by supporting these women, we can make a positive impact in their lives and help them rebuild and heal.
MORE THAN JUST NUMBERS
Why Women's Empowerment Benefits Us All
Women are an integral part of our lives and society, and their contributions should be recognized and celebrated. From their roles as mothers, sisters, daughters, and friends to their impact in the workplace and beyond, women play a vital role in shaping the world around us. They bring unique perspectives, skills, and talents to the table, and their contributions are essential to making the world a better place. Whether it's through their tireless efforts to care for their families, their leadership and innovation in their fields, or their tireless work to promote social justice and equality, women are truly remarkable and deserving of our support and admiration.
LABOR FORCE INCREASE
Women are increasingly active in the workforce and are making significant contributions to their communities and economies. According to data from the International Labor Organization, the percentage of women in the global labor force has increased from 52.4% in 1990 to 57.5% in 2020. This increase in women's participation in the workforce has contributed to the economic stability of families and communities, and has also increased the representation and influence of women in the workplace.
PROGRESS IN EDUCATION
Women are making significant progress in education. According to data from the United Nations Development Programme, the global gender gap in primary and secondary education has almost closed, with the number of girls and women who are out of school at these levels dropping from 59% in 2000 to just 4% in 2018. This has resulted in more girls and women than ever before attending school and achieving higher levels of education.
SOCIAL & POLITICAL MOVEMENTS
Women are leading significant social and political movements around the world. Women have been at the forefront of many important social and political movements in recent history, including the suffrage movement, the civil rights movement, and the fight for gender equality and reproductive rights. These movements have had a number of positive impacts, including increasing the visibility and representation of women in politics, and advancing the rights and opportunities of women and girls.
TOTAL WORKFORCE INCREASE
Women are making significant contributions in a variety of fields and industries. According to data from the National Science Foundation, women made up 47% of the total U.S. workforce in 2019, and they are increasingly represented in a variety of fields and industries, including science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). This can have a number of positive impacts, including advancing knowledge and innovation in these fields, and inspiring and mentoring future generations of women and girls.
